Since 2019, as a devoted 'Ally' of the Transformational Travel Council, we actively engage in co-creating a travel landscape that embodies ethics, emotions, equity, and ecological consciousness.
Aligned with allies who are globally recognized change-makers and conscious travel experts, we contribute to travel's positive impact as a powerful force for good. Our unique skillset allows us to craft diverse and transformative travel experiences.
By aligning with the Transformational Travel Council, we access educational training and valuable marketing support, elevating our business endeavors. Additionally, we partake in curating the remarkable journeys showcased on the dedicated marketplace. As advocates of purpose-driven travel, we extend the choice of transformational group trips to passionate travelers or offer tailored experiences designed by transformational travel designers.
In the spirit of community, a portion of the proceeds generated within the TTC network is directed towards local charities, vaccine initiatives, and regenerative projects, amplifying our commitment to fostering positive change."

Within this expansive community of approximately 30,000 passionate individuals, including guides, tour operators, lodges, travel advisors, tourism boards, outdoor educators, gear companies, and travel media, we collectively embrace the core values of sustainable tourism. Our shared belief and commitment fuel a united effort to drive responsible and profitable outcomes.
The dynamic connections and innovative spirit within this community thrive both virtually and in person, resulting in the collaborative creation and implementation of solutions that propel not only our businesses but also our communities towards a future that's both sustainable and economically viable.

Futurismo is proud to be a Partner of the World Cetacean Alliance (WCA): the world’s largest Partnership working to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises (cetaceans). Together we represent more than 80 Partners in 25 countries worldwide and we are expanding rapidly.
Through cooperation, the Partners of the World Cetacean Alliance aim to conserve and protect cetaceans and their habitats in the world’s oceans, seas and rivers, to ensure their continued health and survival.
The WCA is committed to preventing all cetaceans from being held in captivity except for rehabilitation and release purposes. We are also developing and implementing new concepts for responsible whale and dolphin watching with the potential to inspire and educate millions of people. Finally, we aim to expand the global community of people who care for cetaceans, have a desire to learn about them, and respect them.

Functioning as a recognized and esteemed NGO, WTACH serves as a hub that unites public, private, community-based, and academic sector organizations. Together, we collaborate to aid Governments, Donors, Destinations, and the entire Tourism sector in realizing their long-term aspirations, while also mitigating the risks tied to inadequate or ineffective planning for Cultural Heritage Tourism (CHT).
With a commitment to fostering celebration and preservation, WTACH stands as a 'Not for Profit' membership organization that diligently works to ensure that the distinct attributes, historical legacies, and cultural values of global communities are safeguarded and cherished for the well-being of generations to come.

Since 2014, Futurismo Azores Adventures has been an esteemed member of APECATE, an association that unites and represents companies specializing in congresses, tourist animation, and events across Portugal.
APECATE's focus lies in representing sectors of significance within the Creative Industry and Tourism, encompassing enterprises that create, develop, and execute innovative products and services of strategic importance to the Portuguese economy. Whether corporate, marketing, or cultural events, small or large congresses, national or international gatherings, conferences, symposiums, team-building activities, outdoor incentives, nature-based tourism, or cultural tourism, all contribute to enriching Portugal as a distinct tourist destination and an exceptional location for hosting events.
APECATE stands as the forum for these companies, showcasing their exceptional competencies and serving as a workspace for promotion, internationalization, and the cultivation of synergies among Portugal's finest enterprises. APECATE also holds a prominent position as the voice of Portuguese companies in various European instances, such as the EC-OE (European Confederation of Outdoor Employers), of which it is a founding member, and the LiveComAlliance.

Since 2015, Futurismo Azores Adventures has proudly been a member of APAVT - Associação Portuguesa das Agências de Viagens e Turismo, the sole association of its kind in Portugal and the oldest and most representative body within the national tourism sector. APAVT brings together national travel agencies as well as other entities associated with the tourism industry, including foreign travel agencies, airlines, hotels, restaurants, car rental companies, official tourism organizations, campgrounds, and road transport providers, among others.
Founded on May 30, 1950, by a group of Travel Agents who believed that by forming an association, they could collectively better advocate for the rights and interests of their sector, APAVT has played a pivotal role in shaping the national tourism landscape over the past seventy-three years. The association fosters idea exchange among its members, presents proposals at all levels, anticipates market changes, and prepares the sector for emerging challenges.
Given the pivotal role of travel agencies, serving as the primary link between the tourism offerings and consumers, APAVT's impact often extends beyond its own membership, significantly contributing to the broader tourism industry as a whole.

Since 2018, Futurismo Azores Adventures has been an active participant in the 'The Sustainability Charter of the Azores,' an initiative established in 2017 by the Government of the Azores. This initiative brings together the public, private, and associational sectors, united in a collective effort to accelerate the adoption of the sustainable development principles outlined in the UN's Agenda 2030 within the archipelago.
Voluntary in nature, subscribing to this initiative signifies a commitment of the organization to collaboratively pursue the implementation of environmental, social, and governance sustainability strategies across the region, in partnership with other subscribing entities.
The benefits encompass ongoing guidance from sustainability experts, offering specialized consultancy and capacity building. These advantages are further amplified by the provision of diverse technical tools and personalized resources, empowering us to embrace a path of sustainable practices.
