APAVT brings together national travel agencies as well as other entities associated with the tourism industry, including foreign travel agencies, airlines, hotels, restaurants, car rental companies, official tourism organizations, campgrounds, and road transport providers, among others.<br \/>Founded on May 30, 1950, by a group of Travel Agents who believed that by forming an association, they could collectively better advocate for the rights and interests of their sector, APAVT has played a pivotal role in shaping the national tourism landscape over the past seventy-three years.
