Depois de cozida, reduza-a a pur\u00e9 e coloque-a numa tigela grande. Adicione o ovo, o a\u00e7\u00facar e o fermento previamente dilu\u00eddo em \u00e1gua morna e misture \u00e0 m\u00e3o. Adicione a farinha at\u00e9 obter uma boa consist\u00eancia. Tape e deixe crescer durante a noite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Na manh\u00e3 seguinte, peneire a farinha para uma tigela grande e junte o a\u00e7\u00facar. Adicione tamb\u00e9m a mistura de fermento e comece a amassar. Deve amassar at\u00e9 ver formar bolhas e a massa n\u00e3o colar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Quando estiver bem amassada, coloque a massa numa tigela grande, tape-a e deixe-a levedar durante cerca de 15 minutos. Depois, volte a amassar durante cerca de 30 minutos e coloque-a novamente no recipiente tapado at\u00e9 duplicar de tamanho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Agora \u00e9 a altura de cozer a massa. Dividir a bola em v\u00e1rias partes, consoante o tamanho pretendido (nos A\u00e7ores, \u00e9 t\u00edpico encontrar grandes Massas Sovadas de 500g ou mesmo de 1 kg). Esticar e dobrar as diferentes partes e coloc\u00e1-las sobre um pano polvilhado com farinha. Deixar levedar at\u00e9 dobrar de tamanho.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pr\u00e9-aque\u00e7a o seu forno a 180\u00baC. Quando estiverem prontas para ir ao forno, pincele-as com um ovo batido. Devem ficar no forno durante pelo menos 45 minutos, mas este tempo pode variar consoante o tamanho das bolas.
